It's possible to play the chromatic accordion without knowing the musical theory !
The musical notation with tabs is not new (they have found a lute tablature dating from the 15th century !), players of diatonic accordion and guitar regularly use tabs...
But tabs for chromatic accordion... that's new and exclusive !
The tunes in this page are more or less difficult, but are not directed at beginners (more appropriate tunes on the beginners area of this site).
They require a good desynchronization of the two hands, and a good knowledge of the keyboard left hand :
Our method is particularly innovative, because thanks to it it's possible to play simple airs almost immediately.
The beginning of the learning is essential for us, so we carefully choose the first tunes and we compose some others to access progressively all the possibilities of the instrument .
In this page we offer you several easy tunes (by order of increasing difficulty), but if you really want to learn to play the chromatic accordion, you should order our Method of Chromatic Button Accordion (CBA)... It's written in French, but with videos, mp3, with explanatory diagrams, it can help you in your learning !
Each one of your hands will have to learn to work independently... This is called the "desynchronization".
Be rigorous !
Indeed it will be more difficult for you to correct one default than to learn something new.
Play (at least) 15 minutes per day, because the regularity is more effective than the duration of playing. If you play every day, the reflexes will come more quickly.
